About
Born in 1999, I graduated from the Performing Arts Program at Jingwen High School, the Bachelor's program in Music at Fu Jen Catholic University, and the Master's program in Music at Fu Jen Catholic University. I joined a choir in the second grade of elementary school and have participated in numerous competitions and performances, and I am still active in the choral scene, including groups such as the Taipei Youth Choir, Formosa Singers , Ching-Yun Choir, and Taipei Chinese Orchestra Chorus.
During my time at Jingwen High School in the Performing Arts Program, I received comprehensive artistic training from "U-Theatre" and participated in various large-scale productions, performances, and behind-the-scenes work, including "The Diamond Heart" and "Jiang Hui's Farewell Concert."
While studying at Fu Jen Catholic University, I majored in vocal performance and minored in theoretical composition as well as piano. I created several music works and composed soundtracks for short films and sound workshops. In 2020, I participated in the sound group course at the Central Motion Picture Corporation Training Center, where I learned sound recording and post-production techniques under the guidance of teacher Li-Chi Kuo, focusing on sound effects and dialogue editing.
In graduate school, I majored in applied music under Professor Chia-Yu, Chang, with additional studies in theoretical composition under Professor Chiu, Hao-Yuan, as well as jazz piano and vocal performance. My master's thesis was titled "A Study of Film Score on the Topic of Orchestration: A Case Study on the Remade Musical Composition of the 2004 Cinematic trailer of World of Warcraft." During my time at the university, I continually practiced various scoring techniques and sound design, and through numerous cross-disciplinary collaborations, I learned to communicate and work with professionals from different fields while taking responsibility to achieve goals. Additionally, due to my interest in photography, I took a course in "Digital Photography and Image Processing" in the Department of Applied Arts, which helped me understand the importance of composition and visual elements, enriching my perspective on scoring in relation to visuals.
